New First Year Student Orientation - "Flight 1908-24"
Welcome Saints! The time is now to register for your Orientation Experience and prepare to start your journey at DYU! We are thrilled to have you on campus for your three-day orientation Experience, "Flight 1908-24" starting with new student move-in day on Wednesday August 21st. During this 3-day immersive experience, we are proud to give you a dynamic experience with your fellow classmates ahead of classes beginning. Each day will have a theme that connects you to our campus and the surrounding community.

Flight 1908-24 Orientation Schedule:

• Day 1 (Wednesday, August 21st): Move-In Day! this day will cover all things related to living in the residence hall from meeting your RA to floormates to creating a community in Marguerite Hall followed by a welcome party on the front lawn
• Day 2 (Thursday, August 22nd): Saints Never Refuse to Serve Day! This day will cover history about D'Youville and what it means to be a Saint. D'Youville's motto, never refuse to serve will be evident as we will send Saints out into the community for some 'paws on the ground' while gaining valuable insight as to what it means to be part of the Westside community. We'll also be preparing for the annual 'Battle of the Floors' which will be held on Day 3!
• Day 3 (Friday, August 23rd): This day will cover important topics that our first-year students need to know about being a college student and we'll end the day with the annual 'Battle of the Floors' at Dobson Field!

After Orientation concludes we have a number of events in order to Welcome our new students and Welcome Back our Returning Students:
• Saturday August 24: Welcome Back Bash: Join the entire student body at our annual welcome back event!
• Sunday August 25: Not sure where your classes are? No problem! Orientation Leaders will offer customized tours of our academic buildings so that our first-years know exactly where they are going during the first few days on campus
• Monday, August 26th: Fall Semester Classes Start
